Role
Reporting to the Reliability Superintendent, a Mechanical Reliability Engineer is required for a coal preparation plant. You will be involved in maintenance and planning to reduce machinery failure, improve equipment maintenance strategies resulting in consistently high levels of equipment reliability and availability.
You will be responsible for the following;
- Develop, maintain and compile asset reliability, critical and condition information necessary for reliability planning, delivery and maintenance strategies.
- Undertake asset condition data for critical path analysis to predict maintenance plans of assets.
- Comply with company policy and procedures.
- Proven track record in a reliability mechanical engineering role with in coal preparation plants
Essential to your success;
- Apply reliability techniques to prevent process and equipment failure.
- Develop maintenance strategy for critical equipment using reliability centred maintenance process.
- Develop and implement recommendations based on failure analysis, operation data and CMMS(SAP) data.
- Modify maintenance strategies by using Preventive Maintenance Optimisation.
- Critical spare optimisation.
