An experience Java Developer with Core Java/Server Side Java Experience required for a leading trading strategy development team in a Proprietary Trading firm based in Sydney. With offices in the US, London and Sydney, the team are looking for a experienced Java developers to join the team.
This is a highly focused group of extremely talented Java software engineers with proven experience with developing high frequency, low latency trading platforms in Java. You would be in charge of your own trading strategies and portfolio.
My client expects the Java Developers primary responsibilities to code innovative trading models in Java by developing and perfecting proprietary algorithms running on our high-performance, electronic trading platform. The Java Developer would be responsible for improving the scalability, performance and efficiency of existing strategies, as well as collaborating with Trading Analysts to devise and develop new strategies.
Job Qualifications
- Core JAVA programming.
- Strong mathematically minded, background in math, physics, or statistics is a preferred.
- Experience in distributed and/or highly concurrent systems.
- Experience in low-latency systems and/or high transaction environments.
- Confident Java Developer
- Interest in trading and financial markets.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
