MINE MANAGER – GOLD MINE – WA
Our client is at the forefront of Gold Mining operations across the globe, with high staff retention levels and a modern approach towards technology and management; they require a Mine Manager for a premier Gold mining operation in WA. An accomplished leader with preferably a Mining Engineering background, you will work directly and collaboratively across internal corporate, functional technical and commercial teams as well as external clients to provide technical expertise and to ensure value generation.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure consistent compliance with current legislation
- Develop strategies, vision and objectives for the operation in line with company values
- Lead a safe operation, ensuring commitment to uphold high HSE standards
- Provide leadership, incorporating companies ethics and values
- Successful delivery of performance targets and annual site budget
- Develop and implement business model for the operation
- Incorporate risk management into operational planning and execution
Ideal candidates will have:
Managerial and leadership experience at Mine Manager/Technical Services Manager level
Experience of Open Pit, hard rock mining
Knowledge of feasibility studies and project implementation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
