Job Description
As a highly regarded employer in the Australian and International power utility market, our client is looking for a skilled Electrical Technician with strong instrumentation and electrical maintenance skills to join their Operations Team as the Operator Maintainer. Being a residential role in the Pilbaras of Western Australia, you will be provided with sufficient support and allowances. Your primary function is to provide trade skills and engineering knowledge, planning and coordination to assist in the operations and maintenance of the power plant. Ultimately, you will be responsible for responding to plant upsets and failures and will be the main point of contact in troubleshooting across a range of maintenance and operational issues.

In order to be successful in your application for the Operator Maintainer, you must be a Dual Trade Electrician Electrical/Instrumentation (A Grade Electrical license and ideally, Cert IV Instrumentation). It is expected that you have significant experience with maintaining complex control systems (ideally, familiarity with Allen Bradley Control logix 5000, Wonderware & Woodward Micronet GAP) and solid electrical maintenance skills from a Continuous Process industry and exposure to HV electrical equipment. Knowledge of Power Generation principles and/or relevant industry experience will be highly regarded.
