I am currently recruiting for a large software development company within Brisbanes CBD for a strong Program/Project Coordinator.

My client has been producing software around the globe for years. With major clients in Australia such as Optus, Telstra and other telcos, there is no shortage of projects to keep you busy.

This role would suit a Junior to Mid level Coordinator with an IT background. An IT degree would be extremely advantageous to your application.

My client is offering the opportunity to expand and grow your capabilities. You will be responsible for the likes of:

  • Providing release management support to the Programme Owner who is responsible for delivery of releases
  • Administration of SAP time codes
  • Management and administration of the Project Management Information System that supports monthly reporting
  • Management and administration of the VersionOne backlog management tool which provides planning, scheduling and tracking of work executed under an Agile methodology
  • Managing audits and internal quality meetings
  • Ensuring ISO 9001:2008 certification is maintained
  • Maintaining the PMO owned processes and documentation

Your experience as a coordinator so far should involve the following capabilities:

  • Proven understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • In-depth experience of implementing project methodologies and standards
  • Proven understanding of ISO 9001:2008 standards
  • Understanding of Agile practices
  • In-depth experience of project scheduling tool/s
  • Experience in project administration would be an advantage but not essential
  • Experience with SAP Time Capture or other time sheet capture tools

This is an immediate need and would for a technically savvy coordinator.
